Ab actus. An officer who entered the proceedings of a court. A clerk of a court.

Abalienate. To alienate or estrange one. To transfer the ownership to another.

Abadengo. In Spanish law, lands or towns within the jurisdiction of an abbot. Land owned by a religious corporation.

Abandonee. One to whom property is relinquished or abandoned. An insurer of property which has become a total loss.
